Tel Aviv illustrator Yehuda Devir and his wife Maya Devir have shared their magical relationship with the world through their comics “One of those days,” which range from humorous daily situations to life-changing decisions. We last featured the couple in an article about their year-long attempts to have a baby, followed by Maya’s pregnancy announcement. “We spent a year trying to conceive. In the process, we discovered that our own family is the best creation we can strive for,” Yehuda stated in 2018. Well, the pair is back, and Maya’s pregnancy has been perfectly shown.

Yehuda and Maya met while serving in the military, and after a long friendship, they became romantically involved. “Our comics are based on real-life experiences, and we use illustration to create entertaining recollections.

Although Yehuda is the primary illustrator, his wife is also an artist who assists him with compositional suggestions and sketches. “After that, I sit down and begin working.” When I’m finished, Maya makes suggestions for improvements, such as color and typeface. This entire process takes no longer than a day.
