Piraro, one of the old- academy cartoonists, has made the transition to web-grounded comics, a whole different ballgame where competition is fierce and utmost artists struggle to make a living from their craft.
According to his memoir, his single-panel gems are a “ unique mix of surreal imagery, social commentary, and facetious puns. In fact, if Salvador Dalí, Garry Trudeau, and Oscar Wilde had an illegitimate child, that child would be Dan Piraro.”
