In response to reports that she had a “serious relationship” with Johnny Depp, Jenna Ortega has commented. Yes, it seems that many actually thought the 21-year-old actor and the 61-year-old were dating. It all started last year when there were suspicions that he was involved with Beetlejuice Beetlejuice after the two were purportedly spotted together.
In the soon-to-be released follow-up to the 1988 masterpiece, Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, and Catherine O’Hara will reprise their legendary parts with Ortega.
While there have been whispers of Depp being in the Tim Burton movie as well, to be honest, it’s not really necessary. When speculations of a romance started to circulate last year, the Wednesday actress came out and called them “ridiculous.” “In my entire life, I have never worked or met Johnny Depp. Ortega said, “Please stop telling lies and go away from us.” Additionally, the performer was questioned about the “craziest rumour” she has heard about herself during a Beetlejuice 2 trailer. She clarified that it had to be that she was dating the Pirates of the Caribbean actor, which came as somewhat of a surprise.

It seems so absurd to me. I mean, I never talked about that. That’s not anything I’ve ever said. Although articles essentially just fabricate quotes, I found that to be rather humorous. She continued by saying that one of her cast members thought she might be seeing Johnny Depp. “Oh, so you and Johnny?,” Richard E. Grant asked me as we were working together on the set. When the rumours kicked off about Ortega dating Depp last year, a statement from Depp’s representative read: “Mr. Depp has no personal or professional relationship with Ms. Ortega whatsoever. He has never met her or spoken to her.”
It continued: “He is not involved in any project with her, nor does he intend to be. He is appalled by these baseless and malicious rumours that are intended to harm his reputation and career.”
