In today’s world, being 30 years old or older isn’t all that remarkable. However, for comics, reaching 30 years is a remarkable achievement, especially in current times, as only a few comics and cartoons have made it that far. Mark Parisi, 60, has reached this remarkable milestone, but he isn’t stopping there, and the number continues to rise: Mr. Parisi has been drawing his “Off the Mark” cartoons since 1987, which brings the total to 35 years. That’s the equivalent of more than half a lifetime of cartoons and comics. If people didn’t like the comics as much as they did, I’m sure he wouldn’t be doing it: Over the years, it has been in thousands of newspapers and millions of hearts, as well as hundreds of holiday cards. So, without further ado, let’s see how accurate the jokes are; I have a feeling they’ll be “Off the Mark!” Enjoy!
