In 1987, David Waisglass and Gordon Coulthart founded Farcus Comics with the objective of creating a comic strip that would make people laugh and smile all around the world. The comic strip follows the exploits of Farcus, an amusing and mischievous dog, and his human buddy, Fred, in the fictitious town of Farcusville, as well as a colorful ensemble of supporting characters. Farcus Comics soon grew in popularity due to its smart humor and relevant stories.
